Time for Trump/Feichthaler?
To the editor:
What with the Democrats giving us the novice senator from Illinois, Barack Obama, and the longtime senator Joe Biden from Delaware, in a bid for the presidency and vice presidency of the United States, and the Republicans offering us the ancient 72-year-old John McCain and the beautiful 44-year old-newcomer, mother of five and governor of the ice bound state of Alaska, Sarah Palin, for our edification in the same positions, allow me to offer up the names of Donald Trump and Cape Coral mayor Eric Feichthaler in a likewise third party offering.
Why not? Eric is still the mayor of one of the fastest growing cities in the state of Florida, and Mr. Trump? Everyone knows him. Money will certainly be no problem from that end.
We all know that Eric is young and politically ambitious, and “The Donald” could probably knock your socks off if he ever decided to make the run.
What say you? Could you get your teeth into this one if it were ever able to come to pass? I’d certainly like the opportunity to get to chew on that one. “Hey Eric, how about you?”
