Norma Frey Graf
Norma Frey Graf, 91, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Benjamin William Graf, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Her Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Sunday, December 21st, 2014 in the The Palms of Mt. Pleasant, 937 Bowman Road. Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Norma was born May 10, 1923 in Buffalo, New York, daughter of the late Norman Charles Frey and Geraldine Parker Frey. She owned and operated a launderette, was an active member at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Buffalo, NY and served on the board for the Episcopal Home. She spent her years of retirement in Cape Coral, FL enjoying travel, swimming in the pool and the local community. She loved the company of her friends and family and had a sharp wit, an entertaining sense of humor and an unyielding work ethic. She enjoyed her crafts, knitting, and quilting, and often helped with her church bazaar. Much to her children and grandchildren’s delight, she was also an amazing baker. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Dolores Troppman, of Ellicott City, MD, two sons, Robert Gerald Graf of Isle of Palms, SC and Benjamin Norman Graf, of Melbourne, FL, her three grandchildren, Cynthia Dean Graf and Richard William Graf, both of Mount Pleasant, SC and David Gerald Graf, of Tazewell, VA, and her great granddaughter, Presley Dean Graf, also of Tazewell, VA.
