Susan Fox Barra
Susan Fox Barra, a former resident of Cape Coral, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Jeffersonville, IN. The daughter of William and Nancy Fox, she was born April 10, 1961 in Washington, DC. Susan graduated with honors from Lafayette High School (Lexington, KY) where she participated in a number of activities including the award-winning marching band. After graduating from Miami University (Ohio), she pursued warmer weather and the beach calling several places home: North Carolina, Louisiana, and Florida. She loved being outdoors and was avid about exercising. She loved and had several pets, both cats and dogs with their own great distinctive personalities most of which shared her fascination with the beach. She had a long career in sales at several companies including Eli Lilly and Lancome. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Beal Fox. She will be missed by all her surviving family: her father, William Fox; her stepmother, Rev. Sharon Elliott-Fox; uncles Ron (Pat) Fox, Joe (Peg) Fox; sister Lynette (Dan) Green; nieces, Emily and Lucy Green; cousins, Elizabeth (Rich) Keating, Joseph (Miranda) Fox, Caryn (Dave) Diamond; many nephews and nieces; and friends. A celebration of Susan’s life will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Wall Street United Methodist Church, 240 Wall Street, Jeffersonville, IN.
