Richard Edward Gley

Richard Edward Gley, 20, a Cape Coral resident for the past 12 years, formerly of New Windsor, NY, passed away on November 20, 2014. He was born on June 30, 1994 in Middletown, NY.

Richard attended Abiding Love Lutheran Church in Cape Coral and was employed by Sandy Hook Fish and Rib House in Matlacha. He was a great artist and an up and coming rapper. Richard was a proud graduate of Ida Baker High School. He was a caring, helpful, loving person thru and thru and anyone he knew would say it’s true. He will be forever missed.

He is survived by his beloved parents, Ed and Shannon Gley of Cape Coral; a loving sister, Alexis Virginia Gley of Cape Coral; maternal grandparents, Ron and Isabella Caldwell of Cape Coral; maternal great grandfather, Arthur Verdon of SC; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services were held 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Abiding Love Lutheran Church, 3205 Chiquita Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33914 with Pastor Jim Pankow officiating.
