Michael Zubal
Michael Zubal, 55, of Bokeelia passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2014.
He is survived by many family members, including his two children, Mallory Zubal and Jordan Zubal; his mother, Catherine Zubal; and his siblings, John Zubal, Diane McNamara, Rose Shepherd, Karen Jackson, Nancy Hudnall, Shirley Winfield and Steven Zubal; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He had resided on Pine Island since 1972 and was a self-employed marine mechanic. He enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle and spending quality time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Zubal; siblings, Gloria Shivell, Kathy Fischer and Andy Zubal; as well as his best friend, riding buddy and “brother,” Doug Winfield.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to the Pine Island Fire Department or a charity of your choice.
A memorial celebration will be take place on Pine Island at a date and venue to be determined later.
