Ray Wayman
Ray Wayman, 93, of Cape Coral died Friday, May 6, 2011. Formerly of Massillon, Ohio, he had resided here since 1977. Born Aug. 4, 1917 in Oak County, North Carolina, he retired from General Motors – Terex Division in 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby; daughter, Alice (Frank) Gessel; son, Larry (Barbara) Wayman; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Theora, in 1993 and his daughter, Evelyn Drokopil.
Funeral services were held today, May 10, at 1 p.m., from the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd. Burial followed at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
