Timoteo Tanael Creus
Timoteo Tanael Creus, 85, of Cape Coral, Fla. died Sunday, April 10, 2011. He was born on Jan. 16, 1926 in Indang, Cavite, Philippines to Manuel and Silveria Creus.
He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Mess Management Specialist First Class. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. His enjoyments included farming, gardening, dancing and spending time with his family. He was a fun-loving guy.
He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 61 years, Rosenda Creus; children, Benny Creus of Cape Coral, Merilyn Pegollo of Long Island, NY, Bettie Gigantone of New Jersey and Ruweyna Herrera of Long Island, NY; nine grandchildren, J.B., Anne, Ryan, Raymond, Maureen, Martie, Mark, Alex and Caroline; great grandson, Devan; brothers, Pedro and Jesus; sister, Eugenia.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 S.W. Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral with Entombment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
