George A. Garr
George A. Garr, 80, who was born April 2, 1930, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, in Cape Coral. He was a 30-plus-year member of AA.
He is preceded by in death by a son, Michael; four brothers; and one sister. He will be deeply missed by his children, Carolyn (David) Dutschke of Cape Coral, Patrick Owens of Lexington, S.C., Connie (Ron) Caswell of Louisville, Ky., and Kathy (Joe) Smith of Clarksville, Ind.; brother, Donnie (Mary Ellen) Garr; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, at Christ Community Church, 4801 Orange Grove Blvd., North Fort Myers. Interment will be in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
