Wayne T. Dockery
Wayne T. Dockery, 64, of Cape Coral, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at HealthPark Hospital.
He was born in Newark, N.J., in 1947. He joined the U.S. Army in 1967 and served in Vietnam honorably. He worked for Merck Inc. in Rahway, N.J., for 32 years. He retired in 2002 and moved to Cape Coral where he enjoyed riding his Harley, golfing and boating.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Dockery of Toms River, N.J.; his wife, Sharon of Cape Coral; one son, Steve (Bella) Dockery of Murrieta, Calif.; one sister, Barbara Wright of Waretown, N.J.; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, March 11, at Fuller Metz Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral.
The family will receive friends for viewing one hour prior to service time.
