Matthew Kolkovich
Matthew Kolkovich, 57 of Cape Coral passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011. He was born Dec. 27, 1953, in Chicago to Clarence and Edwina Kolkovich. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He moved to the local area 25 years ago from Dundee, Ill. He was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. He was a family man who always put his family first.
He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 27 years, Kristi; children, Michael (Jocelyn) Kolkovich of Lisle, Ill., Dan Kolkovich, Jane Marie (Brian) Kidder, Terese (Chris) Floyd and Anna Kolkovich, all of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Payton Kimberly Floyd and Christian Michael Kolkovich; brothers, Michael, Mark and Marty.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 4, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 S.W. Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
