Ursula Springman Haverty
Ursula Springman Haverty, 89 of Cape Coral, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral.
She was born Nov. 18, 1921, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to Edwin and Olive Webber. She moved to Cape Coral in 1978.
She worked for the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., for 27 years before retiring. She was a member of the Retired Officers Association, MOWW, CCMOAA, Elks Club, Cape Coral Golf & Tennis Country Club, S.W. Florida Symphony Society and Canadian Club of Cape Coral.
She is survived by three daughters, Gail Springman Newton, Julie Haverty Frantzen and Debbie Haverty Grant; her five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased in death by her husband, Philip J. Haverty.
She will be buried with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., followed by services on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m., at Fuller Metz Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd.. S., Cape Coral.
