Lawrence Calvin Kearnes Jr.
Lawrence Calvin Kearnes Jr., 62 of North Fort Myers and Bracey, Va., passed away on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011. He was born on Aug. 14, 1948, in Jeffersonton, Va., to Lawrence and Iva Lee Kearnes.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, boating and, according to his family, was always involved in many projects, building various items.
He is survived by his loving family, including his fiance, Kathi Morris; sons, Lawrence (Amy) Kearnes III and Robert Kearnes, both of Cape Coral; daughter, Lori Kearnes of Cape Coral; seven grandchildren, Casey, Brooke, Samantha, Dallas, Melinda, Katie and Zach; brother, Kevin Kearnes; sisters, Trish Griese and Laura Saville.
Memorial Services will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 S.W. Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral.
