Katherine Ann Williamson
Katherine Ann Williamson, 72, of Cape Coral died Monday, Feb. 7, 201, at Hope Hospice. She was born in Titusville, Pa., in 1938 to William and Francis Benson. She had been a resident of Cape Coral since 1975. She was an employee of Lee Memorial Health Systems Cape Coral Hospital for over 32 years as a social worker. She was an avid tennis player and a member of the Cape Coral Yacht Club Womens tennis league.
Her family includes her four children, John Williamson, Cheryl Poirier, Jill (Paul) Jennings and Rich Williamson; one sister, Barbara Shultz of Lititz, Pa.; four grandchildren; Malcolm, Dareck, Adam and Mathew; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Kayleb; and her Yorkie, Maya.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 12, at Fuller Metz Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd., South, in Cape Coral. The family will receive friends for viewing on Friday afternoon from 4-6 p.m.
Her wish was for memorial contributions to be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
