John J. Bellmore III
John J. Bellmore III, 61, of Pine Island passed away on May 14, 2010. He was born March 28, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio, to John and Eleanor (Tillo) Bellmore. He was a talented craftsman and an avid fisherman, enjoying the climate and culture of Florida’s gulf coast. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is the beloved father of Shelley Bellmore (Troy) Coleman and Kelly Bellmore; grandfather of of Wyatt Coleman; son and step-son of John (Jack) and Dee Bellmore of Matlacha; brother of Clifford Bellmore and Gail Bellmore Solgos and Kathleen Bellmore Janezik; as well as an uncle and great uncle to numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Bellmore, and a sister, Peggy Bellmore Looney.
Military memorial services will be held Saturday, May 22, at 1 p.m., at the Pine Island VFW Post, Stringfellow Road, St. James City.
Arrangements are being handled by Coral Ridge Funeral Home.
