Robert J. Kettlewell
Robert J. Kettlewell, 69, of Cape Coral passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born July 6, 1940, in Detroit, a son of Robert B. and E. Faye Flack Kettlewell, now deceased.
He was a retired regional sales manager in the automotive paint industry for Pittsburgh Paint and Glass. He was a 1990 graduate of theological studies at Chesapeake Theological Seminary in Maryland. He was a former elder and deacon in the Presbyterian Church and was a long-time Sunday School educator.
He was a member of Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard, and was activated during the Detroit riots.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Carmen Kettlewell; a son, Sean (Jennifer) Kettlewell of Lake Orion, Mich., and their children, Sydney and Mackenna; his daughters, Lisa (Don) Blottenberger of Leonardstown, Md., and their children, Jacob, Samantha and Joshua; and Susan Kettlewell of Bel Air, Md.; and three brothers, the Rev. Bill (Dorothy) Kettlewell of Brazil, Don (Alice) Kettlewell of California and Gary (Jan) Kettlewell of Michigan,
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 8, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. in the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral will be held Sunday, May 9, at 3 p.m., at Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 701 Mohawk Parkway, Cape Coral.
