Ayi Martens
Ayi Martens, 90, of Cape Coral died Sunday, April 4, 2010. She was born in Burma July 17, 1919. She married Delvin Martens in 1962. He preceded her in death in 1999. Formerly of Belmont, Wis., she had been a resident of Cape Coral the past 30 years. She was a member of Cape Coral First United Methodist Church.
Her family includes her children, Mala (Kim) Bridges of Honolulu, Mya (Sandy) Swe of Fort Myers and Thida Swe of San Jose, Calif.; three grandchildren, Win Win, Linda and Selwyn; and seven great-grandchildren, Misha, Kyle, Marissa, Mikayla, Jacob, Jordan and Maya.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, April 8, at Cape Coral First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at church beginning at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
