Marlene Joan Lomonaco

It is with heartfelt regret that we announce the passing of Marlene Joan Lomonaco, 71 (wife, mother, grandmother and sister.) She passed away on Thursday, March 18. She lived in Cape Coral for the last 19 years after moving here from Whippany/Hillside, N.J. Prior to her retirement she worked as a keypunch operator supervisor at Nabisco.

She enjoyed a long retirement filled with travel, cruises and family functions. Weddings, child births and anniversaries were all marked with her presence and enjoyed by all. What made her most happy was her family. She took great pride in the family she and her husband Carmine created. She glowed while speaking of their achievements and successes.

She will be deeply missed. We are comforted by the fact that she will be watching over us and guiding our every move. We are all better for knowing her and grateful with eternal happiness for her. Whether it was a kind word or a soft touch anyone who came in contact with her felt her love.

She is survived by her husband, Carmine; sisters, Carolyn and Joanne; children, Terri, Rick, Ron, Vicki and Doug; and grandchildren, Samantha, Colby, Haliana and Braeden.

The viewing was held at Coral Ridge Funeral home Monday, March 22,

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church today, March 23, at 1 p.m.

Arrangements are by Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, Cape Coral.
