George T. Wood
George T. Wood, 78, of Cape Coral passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010. He had been a manufacturer’s representative for plastic manufacturing for over 35 years. He was the owner of Florida Plastic Sales in Cape Coral. After retiring from plastic sales, he worked for the Coral Oaks Golf Course as a ranger for the last 10 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Pat Wood; two sons, David and Darren; two step-daughters, Donna McCracken and Shannon Fuchs; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his beloved pet, Giacomo.
He will be greatly missed by his many friends and a special friend, John Mandabach.
A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 4544 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rocket Angels Rescue, 3900 North Road, North Fort Myers, FL 33917.
