Matilda “Tilie” Walton
Matilda “Tilie” (Sunday) Walton, 93, of Cape Coral, formerly of Clairton, Pa., died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009. She was the beloved wife of 70 years of Thomas E. Walton, mother of Thomas (Mary Lou) of Phoenix, Ariz., Jon (Carol) of Mt. Lebanon, Pa., and William of Chesteron, Ind.; grandmother of Anne Walton Duncan, Leigh Ellen Walton Mackenzie, Tommy Walton, David Walton, Diane Walton Hendricks, Jason Walton, Quinn Walton and Veronica Walton; and great-grandmother of eight.
She is also survived by sisters Elva (Doc) Dougherty, Esther (Henry) Levoff, Beatrice (Thomas) Meisel, Romaine (Robert) Nagel, Jeanne (Edmond) Morse, and Adeline (Russell) Johnson.
She was preceded in death by brothers Albert (Edith), William (Helen) and Nicholas (Ethel) Sunday and sister Josephine (John) Urbas.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, at 3 p.m., at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 799 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, Pa. The family will great friends following the service.
