Anna May Evans
Anna May Evans, 87, of North Fort Myers passed away on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers. Mrs. Evans was born Dec. 13, 1922, a daughter of Arthur and Anna Mary Rudy Lilley, now deceased. She was a proud and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and took pride in being the ultimate homemaker. She was a member of Grace Baptist Temple and had resided here for the past 20 years coming from Mt. Laurel, N.J.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Edgar T. Evans of North Fort Myers; sons, Edgar Evans of Lincoln, Del., Albert Evans of Seaford, Del., and Ronald Evans of Naples; daughters, Barbara Herring of Mt. Laurel and Anna Collins of North Fort Myers; she is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Malonivich of Mt. Holly, N.J.
Cryptside services were held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 10:30 a.m., in Tranquility Hall Mausoleum in Coral Ridge Cemetery. The Rev. Forrest Devore lofficiated.
Arrangements are under the direction of Coral Ridge Funeral Home.
