Caroline F. (Guluzzi) Gott
Caroline F. (Guluzzi) Gott, 81, of Cape Coral, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Health Park Medical Center in Fort Myers. She was born April 5, 1928, in Ansonia, Conn., a child of Joseph and Rosaria (Riggio) Gugliuzza.
She lived in Ansonia until age 16 and attended Ansonia High School, then her family moved to New York.
She was a resident of Cape Coral for the past 23 years. She formerly lived in Astoria, N.Y., and was employed for 25 years as a telephone operator for law firms.
She was the wife of the late John Gott, who died in April 2007, and mother of the late Jo-Anne Brooks, who died in April 2008.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Raquel Rose Garvie, and great-granddaughter, Roxanne Garvie, both of Cape Coral; and brother, Michael N. (Evelyn) Guluzzi of Charlotte, N.C.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Caloosa Congregation, Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, 701 Hutto Road, North Fort Myers.
