Joan D. Woolley
Joan D. Woolley, 74, of Cape Coral, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Hospice North in Cape Coral. She was born in Neptune, N.J., a daughter of the late Cecil and Hannah Croxson Irons.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She had resided in the Cape for the past 25 years, coming from New Jersey.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Frankel (Martin Flynn) of Tucson, Ariz., and Lori (Ray) Belanger of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; granddaughter, Kayla Weatherspoon; longtime soul mate, James Worrell; brothers, Norman (Sandy) Irons of Wayside, N.J., and Robert Irons of Neptune, N.J.; sisters, Sandra Ayres of Louisiana and Gloria (Frank) Burns of Cape Coral; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
