Willie M. Coley, 86, of Cape Coral, died Monday, Oct, 12, 2009, under the loving care of Hospice House of Cape Coral.

She was a native of Norfolk, Va., and a retired pre-school teacher and poet. She moved to Florida in 1986 and had lived in Cape Coral since 1992.

Survivors include her son, H.A. “Ray” (Ellen) Coley III of Cape Coral; daughter, Juanita C. (Dennis) Harte of Moraga, Calif.; daughter, Judy Clark of Miami; sister, Burnice Martin of Norfolk, Va.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Bret Harte, in 2005.
