J.B. Noah
J.B. Noah, 87, of North Fort Myers, died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Nov. 11, 1921, in Tennessee, to Sam and Verdie Noah, now deceased.
He served honorably during World War II in the U.S. Army.
He was employed by Whiting Corporation for 38 years, retiring and moving to North Fort Myers from Downsgrove, Ill. He was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Isabelle; daughter, Jade (Scott) Pinta; son, Jeff (Susie) Noah; sister, Esther Leonard Davis; and grandchildren, Troy (Erin) Pinta, Kimberly Pinta, Bryan Noah and Kennifer (Nick) Carter.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Donwney Morriss.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ortona Cemetery on state Highway 78 West in Ortona, Fla. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-noon Thursday at Fuller Cape Coral Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd. S.
