Jeffrey David Gaffney, 44, of Cape Coral, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, at his home. He was born June 23, 1965, in Norwich, Conn., a child of James Albert and Joanne Marie (Rondeau) Gaffney.
He graduated from Norwich Free High School and was a local resident for the past 27 years. He was employed as an automotive salesman for 13 years, most recently at Fort Myers Toyota.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Nanci B. (Mattia) Gaffney; children, Nancie M. Applegate, Julie Ann Applegate and Michael Shannon Applegate, all of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Joseph Matteo and Kendra Ohmart; father, James A. Gaffney of Cape Coral; mother, Joanne M. Bundy of Norwich, Conn.; brother, Allan (Laura) Gaffney of Fort Myers; and sisters, Lynn LeBlanc of Pomforet Centre, Conn., and Debbie Craig of Griswold, Conn.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church.
