Robert “Bob” Bluhm
Robert “Bob” Bluhm, 88, of Gulf Coast Village in Cape Coral died Friday Oct. 2, 2009 at Hope Hospice House. He was born in Indianapolis, IN in 1921 to Paul and Lillian Bluhm.
He served his country honorably with the U.S. Army during WW II. He married Wanda Enlow in 1939 in Bicknell, IN.
Bob retired from P.S.I. in Indianapolis after 37 years of service. He moved to Cape Coral in 1983.
He was a member of the Cape Coral First United Methodist Church. Bob was as an avid golfer, with three hole in ones to his credit, and a bridge player.
Survivors include his wife Wanda of 70 years, two daughters Donna Courter of Avon, IN and Julie Vidal of Ft. Myers Beach, two grandsons Dr. Brad Courter and Jacob Butler and two great grandsons Elliott and Matthew Courter.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m on Tuesday Oct. 6, 2009 at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
