Evelyn G. Lucas
Evelyn G. Lucas, 90, of Cape Coral died Saturday Oct. 3, 2009 at Hope Hospice House. She was born in Monett, AR in 1918 to Ezra and Dora Nelson. She married Paul on Nov. 3, 1945 in Flint, MI.
Evelyn worked for Flint Asphalt and Paving for many years. She retired to Clearwater, Fl in 1979 and moved to Cape Coral in 1989.
Evelyn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ft. Myers and the Order of the Easter Star.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Paul and her niece Carolyn Kilbury of N. Ft. Myers. She was preceded in death by Three siblings.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday Oct. 5, 2009 at the Metz Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Daugherty officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM. Easter Star services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m..
