Wilbur ‘Bill’ Dreher Muller
Wilbur “Bill” Dreher Muller, 75, of Cape Coral, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, in Cape Coral. He was born Oct. 30, 1933, in East Orange, N.J., to the late Wilbur Edward and Marian (nee: Dreher) Muller.
He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He attended Albright College in Reading, Pa., received his master’s from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., and then taught three years at the university.
He was director of Boys Town Missouri Aftercare and Big Brothers of St. Louis, Mo.
His career placed him with the U.S. government, Veterans Administration, in St. Louis, Mo.
In 1993, he retired and moved to Cape Coral.
He was a member of the Cape Coral Elks, Fort Myers Track Club and Unitarian Universalist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Henzler Muller of Cape Coral; son, Charles (Jill) Muller of Cape Coral; daughters, Virginia (Scout Merry) Muller of Columbia, Mo., and Lynn (Curt) Baer of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Kayla, Lindsey, Kacie, Lucy and Henry Muller, Haley and Morgan Baer.
A memorial service will be conducted Dec. 27 at Unitarian Universal Church, 13411 Shire Lane, Fort Myers.
