Roger Nall
Roger Nall, 76, of Cape Coral, formerly of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009. He was born Dec. 21, 1932, and was the oldest son of Morris and Margaret Nall.
He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in France just after the occupation.
He was a well-known and highly respected civil engineer in Ohio and Florida.
He is survived by his children, Russell Nall (Melinda) of Jessup, Ga., Penny Nall of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and Cindy Becker (Ralph) of Madison, Ohio; sister, Carolyn McKinney of Cape Coral; second wife, Sharon Nall of Mayfield Heights, Ohio; stepchildren, Robert Conroy and Sean Conroy; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews in many states.
He was predeceased by his wife of 34 years, Wanda Nall; and a son, Steven Nall.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Cape Coral First United Methodist Church, 4118 Coronado Parkway. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 25 at Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
