James R. LaMear
James R. LaMear, 52, of Cape Coral, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. He fought a long battle with heart disease. He was born July 15, 1957, in St. Louis, Mo., to Edgar A. and Helen (nee: Schmidt) LaMear, now deceased.
Moving to Cape Coral 20 years ago, he was the owner and operator of LaMear lawn care and landscape.
He loved his family, friends, cats and life. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. His wonderful sense of humor will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife, Constance; sisters, Joyce (William) Erpelding and Joan (Patrick) Duggan; mother-in-law, Carol Veglia; sister-in-law, Kathy Morgan; dear uncle; great-uncle; cousin; and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Edgar B.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Fuller Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd. S., with scripture service to follow at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Clenent Church, 1510 Bopp Road, St. Louis, Mo., with burial to follow to Resurrection Cemetery.
