Cynthia G. Lewis
Cynthia G. Lewis, 76, of Cape Coral, went to be with her Lord Monday, Aug. 31, 2009. She was born May 9, 1933, in West Indies, Jamaica, to Harold and Irsilda (nee: Plowright), now deceased.
Coming to the United States in 1967 to Bronx, N.Y., she worked as an X-ray clerk for the hospital. Moving to the Cape in 1989, she was a member of the Cape Coral Assembly of God.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Gladstone; son, Devon (Jasmin) Lewis; daughters, Leonie Morency, Petrena Lewis and Althea Lewis; brothers, Lloyd, Vernon and Oscar; sisters, Gwedalyn and Nola; and beautiful grandchildren, Christine, Devan-Ann, Jodell and Kanyon.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Fuller-Cape Coral Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3740 Del Prado Blvd. S. A funeral service will celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cape Coral Assembly of God, 717 Skyline Blvd., with burial to follow.
