William C. “Bill” Stewart
William C. “Bill” Stewart, 59, of Cape Coral, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2009. She was born July 6, 1950, in Memphis, Tenn., a son of George Vance Stewart Sr. and the late Jean Stewart.
He was a police officer with the Fort Myers Police Department for the past three years as a telecommunications supervisor.
He was a certified scuba instructor and an avid HAM radio operator. He was the founder of: StewartWeather.com.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Stewart of Cape Coral; father, George Vance Stewart of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Vance (Debbie) Stewart and Paul (Sarah) Stewart of Memphis, Tenn.; sister, Claire Nottingham of St. Louis, Mo.; son, Specialist Robert Gunnerman of Iraq; daughters, Mindi (James) Abernathy of Memphis, Tenn., and Deborah Loewer (Michael O’Mara) of Cape Coral; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel.
