Frank Bosh
Frank Bosh, 91, of Cape Coral passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009, at his home. He was born Nov. 7, 1917, in Magnolia, Ohio, to Nick and Mary Bosh. He was a distinguished veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army where he was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with two Bronze Battle Stars, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Battle Star, the Purple Heart, four Overseas Service Bars and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was the parts manager for Edward Motors in Pontiac.
He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 68 years, Virginia Bosh; children, Jackie (Chip) Bowser and Nick (Susie) Bosh; sister, Marguerite; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his caregiver, Lisa Bowser, his granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 31, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 S.W. Pine Island Road, Cape Coral. Interment with military honors, provided by the V.F.W. Post 8463, will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial donations to the Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral.
