Ann Tibball
Ann Tibball, 71, of North Fort Myers, died Sunday, July 5, 2009. She was born Feb. 10, 1938, to Nicholas Kancar and Tillie Skiba.
A New York City native, she grew up in Hicksville, N.Y. A homemaker, she moved to Cape Coral in 1977 before moving North Fort Myers.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts and fishing. A singer, she enjoyed karaoke and sang with country western bands on Long Island and in Cape Coral, where she performed at the Moose Lodge.
Family message: To know her was to love her.
Survivors include her mother, Tillie Tompkins of North Fort Myers; sons, Nicholas (Patty) Yeugelowitz of North Fort Myers and William Tibball of Cape Coral; daughters, Arlene (Chris) Jackson of Cape Coral and Dorothy (Todd) Nelson of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cape Coral Hope Hospice on Diplomat Parkway. The service will be held in the chapel.
