William A. Lemay

William A. Lemay, 92 of Cape Coral died Wednesday, July 1, 2009.

He was born on March 16, 1917, in Coventry, R.I., to Alphonse and Regina Lemay. He was formerly of Rhode Island, where he was an avid fisherman, moving here in 1979, where he enjoyed golfing. He was a communicant of St. Andrew Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Genevieve; daughters, Jeanne (Raymond) Gervais of Cape Coral, Cecile (Robert) Lovette of Live Oak, Fla., and Arline Fague of Murphy, N.C.; grandchildren, Michael, Timothy, Scott, Debra, Samuel, Kimberly, Elijah, Joel, William, Brian, Pamela and Eugene; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Tiffany, Hailey, Madison, Benjamin, Heather, Suzanne, Candice, Molly, Emily, Gabrielle, Donald, Rickey, Samantha, Mariah, Jessica, Alicia, Jennifer, Brittany, Dominic and Sara; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Blanche Lemay.

Visitation will be Monday from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 S.W. Pine Island Road, Cape Coral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, with entombment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway, Cape Coral.
