Martin David “Marty” Gasber
Martin David “Marty” Gasber, 41, of Cape Coral, died suddenly Thursday, June 18, 2009, as the result of a senseless automobile accident on Pine Island Road.
He was an accomplished artist and musician, who performed at churches and clubs throughout Lee County.
He loved God, animals and all people. He read his favorite prayer, The Prayer of St. Francis, before beginning each day.
He was a sweet and kind person who had never met a stranger. His big smile and winning personality were combined with the gift of a tremendous sense of humor. He had a loving heart and a gentle soul.
The hole in our hearts will never be filled. In addition to his family, he leaves behind many, many friends who loved him and are also mourning their loss.
A celebration of his life will be held at noon Saturday at Jaycee Park, 4125 S.E. 20th Place.
