Edith Grace Palmento
Edith Grace Palmento, 85, of Cape Coral, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009. She was born May 6, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Guiseppe and Annina Pulice.
She moved to the area in 1982 from Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a communicant of St. Andrew Catholic Church and the Italian American Club.
She enjoyed reading and loved her cats. She also loved to cook for family and friends.
She is survived by her loving family, including son, Carl (Gail) Palmer of North Fort Myers; and grandsons, Steven (Krista) Palmer and Kenny Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Palmento.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 S.W. Pine Island Road. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., with entombment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
