Francois Prudhomme De Lodder

Francois Prudhomme De Lodder, 70, of Cape Coral, born November 26, 1938, died on Friday, June 19, 2009, from pancreatic cancer. Francois and his family moved from Michigan to Cape Coral in 1977. He was an original proprietor of Jimbo’s Restaurant, which he owned and operated until 1998.
Francois was involved in soccer, both as a competitor and a coach for most of his life. Most recently, he coached the Girls’ Soccer team at Evangelical Christian School and trained several youth teams for Florida Premier and Island Coast Alliance.
Francois is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Mary; his daughter, Debbie Fuller and her husband, Scott, and grandchildren, Mariah, Dalton and Devin; his daughter Kimberly Reid and her husband, Jay, and granddaughter, Shannon; and many friends. Services will be held at the Metz Funeral Chapel, 1306 Lafayette St. on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hope Hospice, 2340 Diplomat Pkwy, Cape Coral, FL 33909.
