Lillian Margaret Kottke
Lillian Margaret (nee: King) Kottke, of Dundee, Ill., formerly of Cape Coral, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009, at home, with her loving husband at her side. They would have celebrated 69 years of marriage Nov. 2, 2009.
She was born Sept. 28, 1921, in Oak Park, Ill., to Lawrence and Anastasia (nee: O’Rourke) King.
She was an assistant to an engineer at AT&T for 20 years. She was also a member of the Ladies of the Oriental Shrine, Children’s Hospital Ladies, Page Ladies, AT&T Pioneers Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Faith Presbyterian Church Mariners Group and Village Green Singers.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick “Pat” Kottke; children, Linda (George) Wolf of West Dundee, Patricia Heider of Aurora and Valerie (Rick) Solger of Cary; daughter-in-law, Sharon Kottke of Bradenton, Fla.; grandchildren, Laura, Chris, David, Keith, John, Bill, Tammy, Elizabeth, Pam, Andrew, Chris and Sara; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Kyle, Kristi, Klara, Krista, Camron, Taylor, Lillian and Abigail; and great-great-granddaughter, Crystal.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Lawrence and Fredrick Jr.; sister, Alma; and brother, Robert King.
