Henry M. Ebbighausen
Henry M. Ebbighausen, 80, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at his home in Cape Coral. He was born in Englewood, N.J., and moved to Cape Coral from Boca Raton, Fla., in 2005. He attended Tenafly High School, Tenafly, N.J., and Newark College of Engineering, Newark, N.J., and he served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He was a construction engineer and a licensed general contractor. His favorite hobbies were rebuilding boats and automobiles. He loved being on his boat and fishing.
“Hank” is survived by his wife of 56 years, Peggy; and their five children, Ann Sclafani, Jeanie Johnson, Lynn Brown, Sue Buxton and Paul Ebbighausen; and six -grandchildren: Joshua, Travis, Jillian, Kady, Leah and Sarah.
Visitation for friends will be held Monday, May 11, from 4-7 p.m., at Fuller Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 12, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral.
