Eileen Virginia Latta
Eileen Virginia Latta, 92 of Cape Coral, died Thursday, May 7, 2009.
She was born on Oct. 16, 1916, in Rowlesburg, W.Va., to Herman and Nellie (Lantz) Burkhalter. She moved from Huntington, W.Va., in 1986, to Cape Coral. Her enjoyments included playing pinochle, solitaire and, most of all, spending time with her family. She has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Cape Coral for more than 20 years.
She is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 72 years, Carl Edward Latta; daughter, Carla (Melvin) Antonio; grandchildren, Edward Ray Bolt, William Troy Bolt and David Sean Bolt; great-grandchildren, Corey Bolt, Kyle Bolt, Brittany Bolt, Paul Bolt and Tyler Bolt; brothers-in-law, Paul Latta and Ralph Latta.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Anita Eileen Antonio.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral at noon Monday, May 11, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. Entombment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
