Josephine Bartuccelli
Josephine Bartuccelli, 97, of Cape Coral, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009. She was born Nov. 24, 1911, in New York, N.Y., a daughter of Carlo and Rosina Bonesera Savaia, now deceased.
A former resident of Connecticut, she was an active volunteer for the Kennedy Center in Connecticut. She was lovingly referred to as the “Cookie Granny” and had a passion for baking, baking and more baking.
She had resided in the Cape for the past nine years.
She is survived by her daughter, C. Carol Rose of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Richard James Raimann of Miami, Kim Ann (Martin Stoltzenberg) Raimann of Capistrano Beach, Calif., and Christopher (Jacqueline) Raimann of Fairfield, Conn.; and great-grandchildren, Morgan Raimann Gonzales, Corey Michael Raimann and Jordan Ashley Raimann.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bartuccelli; and son-in-law, Lucien Rose.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home on Pine Island Road and Chiquita Boulevard. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
