Clara Domboski Lisiewski

Clara Domboski Lisiewski, 89, of Cape Coral, formerly of Hamilton Township, N.J., passed away peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2009, at the Cape Coral Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Burlington, N.J., a daughter of Eva Domboski, now deceased.
She had resided in Hamilton Township, N.J., until 1983, when she moved to Cape Coral. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew Church.
She was formerly employed for some time by Bayer Aspirin in New Jersey. She later attended a school for cosmetology and practiced as a beautician for many years.
She was very artistic. She enjoyed many hobbies, such as sewing, oil painting, stained glass work, gardening, traveling, cooking and reading, but her happiest moments were spent with her beloved family, particularly her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Joanne) Lisiewski of Hamilton Square, N.J.; daughter, Suzanne Sorg and close friend, Dennis Tluczek, of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Christopher, Sean, Serena, David and Julianne; son-in-law, Henry (Irene) Poreda of Las Vegas, Nev.; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Sebastien, Emilie and Colden; brother, Edward Domboski of West Virginia; sister, Victoria Budd of West Virginia; brother-in-law, Edward Lisiewski of Ewing, N.J.; sister-in-law, Helen Bonfrancisco of Trenton, N.J.; special cousin, Helen Jackson of Cape Coral; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Leopold Lisiewski; sisters, Julia Murant and Pearl Cooper; and daughter, Carla Poreda.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Metz Funeral Chapel, 1306 Lafayette St. The family will receive friends for viewing one hour prior to the service.
