William “Bill” Wiech
William “Bill” Wiech was born Sept. 22, 1936, in Frontenac, Minn., the son of William and Annabelle Wiech. He was raised in Hager City and Red Wing and graduated from Central High School in 1954. On July 16, 1955 he was united in marriage with Hope Munson.
He enjoyed flying, gardening and golfing.
He is the beloved husband of Hope; loving dad of Sherri, Tim (Heather), David (Tammy); Cherished grandfather (Poppy) of Erik (Jennifer), Kyle, Fawn, Dylan; brother of Victor of Lake City, Donald (Vonnie) of Red Wing, and Robert (Ruth) of Hager City; many nieces and nephews and friends.
A memorial service was held Friday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 7000 Hinton, Cottage Grove.
