Karl Heinz Vetter
Karl Heinz Vetter, 98, of Cape Coral, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009. He was born Feb. 12, 1911, in Berlin, Germany.
He and his wife had an adventuresome life, working in West Africa, Germany, Canada and the United States, before retiring in 1977 to Cape Coral, where they successfully opened Karl’s Liquor Store and made many, many friends.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Eve (Bill) Haverfield; grandchildren, Tracy and Eden; and son-in-law, Sascha.
He was predeceased in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Florentine E. Vetter.
Graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens in Fort Myers.
