Victor U. Morgan
Victor U. Morgan, 98, of Cape Coral, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, April 28, 2009. He was born March 31, 1911, in Jamaica West, a son of Henry N. and Corita Finley Morgan, now deceased.
He was a very loving and gracious man, devoted to his family and many, many friends. Once he met a person, they were never strangers again.
He had resided in Cape Coral since 1980, coming from Brooklyn, N.Y., and enjoyed all of his years in the Cape. He was a member of Epiphany Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Etta Morgan; children, Meva (Egnesia) Blake, George (Jane) Morgan and Lloyd Morgan; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sister, Gwen McGuire.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Road. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Epiphany Episcopal Church. Entombment will follow in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
