Elisabeth C. Winkens
Elisabeth C. Winkens, 78, of Cape Coral, died Monday, April 27, 2009, at Joanne’s House of Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, Fla. She was born in the Netherlands into a family of 13 children.
A resident of the Cape since 1983, she was previously employed in the manufacturing of fine candies in New York City and was a former member of Sacred Heart Church in Rochelle Park, N.J.
The wife of Antonius, who died in 1980, she is survived by her children, Louisa F. van Doremalen of Fort Myers and Edward H. Winkens of Paramus, N.J.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church.
