Marie A. Simpson
Marie A. Simpson, 86, of Bokeelia died Wednesday, April 15, 2009. She was born in Hoboken, N.J. She had lived here for 25 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, where she was active in the facility services. She was a key participant and organizer with the bingo group at Tropic Isles.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews throughout the United States.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, who passed away in 1995.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 19, from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m., with the Rosary to follow at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Road, Cape Coral. The family will also receive friends at the funeral home Monday, April 20, from noon to 1:30 p.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, 12175 Stringfellow Road, Bokeelia. Burial will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
