Dominic James Feiore
Dominic James Feiore, 84, of Cape Coral, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009. He was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., to James and Josephine Chickery Feiore.
He was a builder who loved his work.
Retiring to Florida was his lifelong dream, which he did in 1973 from Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He loved to tinker in his garage, drive his RV, listen to Sinatra and ride his bike.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by everyone.
He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 65 years, Etta Feiore; children, James (Buttons) Feiore of Kingston, Tenn., Thomas Feiore of Cape Coral, and Joanne (Louis) Owen of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; grandchildren, Megan Feiore, Matthew Feiore, Robert and Liza Day, and Donna and Michael Skaretka; great-grandchildren, Michael Skaretka, Liam Day and Carter Day; sisters, Marianna Kadar and Carmella Cornell; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Florence Stasko.
