Bernice Schofield Dunlap

Bernice (Bunny) Schofield Dunlap of Cape Coral, formerly of Plymouth Meeting, Pa., and Roxborough, Philadelphia, Pa., went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 26, in Cape Coral.

She was born in Roxborough, Philadelphia, Pa., June 20, 1922. For 51 years, she was the loving wife of Charles Walter Dunlap, who predeceased her on March 22, 2008. She was the daughter of James D. Schofield Sr. and Mabel A. Schofield, now deceased.

She was predeceased by brothers James D. Schofield Jr. and Richard (Marian) Schofield.

She is survived by a brother, Joseph T. (Helen) Schofield Sr.; sister-in-law, Doris (James D. Jr.) Schofield; a brother-in-law, Richard (Theresa) Dunlap; sister-in-law, LaVern Dunlap McClennen; and many nieces and nephews.

She was an active member and supporter of Faith Presbyterian Church, Cape Coral, and displayed her love of music singing in the choir and playing piano and organ for many different groups.

She retired from C&D Battery in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 4544 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral.
